These are ideas that have been brought up in the past – plus a couple more. Feel free to add to the list and discuss the pros and cons of each.
Our Mission centers around serving our community by benefiting veterans, especially Marines. So our activities / projects should focus on providing service or materials and raising funds to do so. Of course, nothing says we can’t have a little fun while we’re doing those.

The idea of a Mountain Nam Jam is underway with the Lake Gregory Entertainment Company seeking approval. My cursory interviewing of mountain veterans tells me it would fly. I now have to get approval from my former VVA 106 Chapter to use the name Nam Jam as it is copyrighted. They have been sympatico so far. We may just have to give them a small cut of the gate or liquor sales. Back in it hey day it attracted about 16.000 . Not here, but with a year of advance planning it should do well.
